Dear family members, dear bell ringers, dear bell holders at home and abroad.

Surely you have been surprised that this year the usual bell notes, our family journal, is not to be found in the mailbox.

 

The reason for this is the fact that our family unit is in a so-called "retirement". At the last family reunion in Giessen, the incumbent board did not succeed in recruiting successors for the most important board positions.

 

Neither a new chairman nor a new treasurer could be found despite all efforts; even no member, who would be willing to design and print and distribute the annual bell notes under guidance had come forward.

 

There are intensive efforts by our chairman to change this situation, but so far, we cannot send out any positive signals. 

 

Until this problem, which will take some time, is solved, the association is in a "dormant state" until a new board is available.

 

Therefore, no membership fees will be collected until further notice, the small assets are frozen, so to speak, and will only be touched for very important expenses (e.g. maintenance of the website).

 

We hope for a solution soon and would like to take this opportunity to wish all Klingelhöfers/klingelhoeffers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025.
